2024 SBO Driver Excellence Recognition Award

PURPOSE OF AWARD

Recognition of school bus drivers demonstrating exemplary performance and a commitment to excellence, particularly in the areas of driving, customer service and safety.

IMPORTANT

Any individual, company or organization (e.g. bus operator, school principal, supplier, etc.) associated with the student transportation industry, may submit a nomination.
This year SBO will be handing out FOUR awards – one in the North, South, East and West.
Winners will receive a $300 award.
Winners will be recognized and announced on the SBO website and in the SBO newsletter.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Any current part-time or full-time driver employed by a company that is a member of School Bus Ontario (SBO)
Committed to exceptional customer service and student safety.
Proven abilities to go above and beyond day-to-day responsibilities in relation to the job description.
Commendable driving record and a valid bus driver’s license with no suspensions or convictions.

All nomination forms will be reviewed, and candidates selected by a Committee of the SBO Board of Directors.
