Attending and Voting at the Meeting
Members may be represented at the Meeting by their “Meeting Representative”. Unless other arrangements are made pursuant to Section 6.3.2 of By-Law Number 1 of the Corporation, the “Meeting Representative” of a Member is its chief executive officer (or if there is none, its president or owner).
If you are unable to attend the Meeting, please complete the proxy attached as Schedule A appointing a proxy holder to vote at the Meeting on your behalf and return same to the Secretary of the Meeting prior to the commencement thereof, or by email to Ruth Anne Staples of the Corporation at rastaples@schoolbusontario.ca. Please note that a proxy is not required in order for the Meeting Representative of a Member to attend the meeting.
Voting Members and Non-Voting Members who would like to have more than one individual associated with them attend the Meeting are welcome to do so. The Meeting Representative of a Member may submit the names of such individuals (“Observers”) to Ruth Anne Staples of the Corporation at rastaples@schoolbusontario.ca or to the Secretary prior to the commencement of the Meeting. Observers will not be eligible to vote at the Meeting and will not be counted towards quorum.
